COPENHAGEN, Denmark – October 1st, 2025 – AffinityAI joins the AI Launchpad. A hub for acelerating European growth and access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

AffinityAI has been officially accepted into the AI Launchpad, a pan-European platform that supports leading AI startups as they scale from research-driven innovation to market-ready ventures. This marks an important step in AffinityAI’s expansion across Europe and its mission to make custom AI-designed protein binders more accessible to the biotechnology industry.

The AI Launchpad is supported by Rise Europe and the ELIAS – European Lighthouse of AI for Sustainability initiative. It unites Europe’s top innovation hubs, including DTU Skylab, ETH AI Center, KTH Innovation, UnternehmerTUM, Campus Founders, and others, to strengthen collaboration and sustainable AI development across borders.

Unlike traditional accelerators, the AI Launchpad operates through a “visiting hub” model, where selected startups engage directly with new ecosystems every season. For AffinityAI, this journey begins in Stockholm in December, hosted by KTH Innovation. During this first hub visit, the AffinityAI team will meet researchers, founders, investors, and potential customers who share an interest in applying artificial intelligence to synthetic biology and protein design.

Participation in the AI Launchpad also grants enhanced access to Europe’s AI Factories, providing increased GPU compute capacity for research and model training. This infrastructure, part of the European Commission’s digital strategy, is designed to strengthen Europe’s leadership in high-performance and sustainable AI development.
Joining the AI Launchpad gives us the opportunity to learn from some of Europe’s most forward-thinking AI ecosystems while connecting with potential partners and collaborators who share our vision for AI-driven protein engineering.

As part of the programme, AffinityAI looks forward to contributing its expertise in AI-based protein design, engaging with world-class mentors, and exploring new markets within the European innovation landscape.
